Abstract:
At very high energies, photon interactions change character.
The pair production cross-section is greatly reduced by the
LPM effect, and photonuclear interactions predominate.
We will review the cross-sections for these processes, and
also introduce a new process - coherent rho photoproduction in
bulk matter; this latter process is akin to kaon regeneration.
