Abstract:
The market for wind power is expanding rapidly, with over 40% of the new electric generating capacity in 2008 coming from this "alternative" energy source. This presentation will provide a broad overview of the US wind power market, with a focus on 2008, and discuss both the opportunities and challenge for continued growth of this "clean" energy source.
